fun-filled weekend after some tears @ 1:56 PM
baked choco chip muffins with dear on wednesday night. and because i wanted to give some to my relatives and friends, i baked another round of sultanas muffins in thurs afternoon. too many cupcakes... to the extent i have no interest or appetite to taste them at all after baking. haha.. glad to hear they're nice.. now i have orders coming in. who else? from my dear cousin. specific order somemore. double chocolate muffins. haha. no problem. bake on sat before i go for Aaron Kwok's concert with her then. mum wants me to teach her. so another batch of sultanas muffins on sat. am i some proffesional baker or what? hahah... it's quite fun larh. really. and it's simple,then there was friday. which can be said to be one of the worst days recently in my life. felt super duper sad. and thank goodness there was dear to play badminton with me.. only told him what happened after he left. haha i gotta learn how to open up to him. i can only say. i'm really feeling demoralised. and i hate that kinda feeling..
saturday was much much better. i met up with ps at west coast macs. had a great time laughing and singing to S.H.E's songs in her room. and then darlie and uncle picked me up and off we went to champion motors to buy car. hehe. our cute suzuki swift sport. champion yellow!! we like!! not going to get the stickers though. just wanna have that cute "sports mind" sticker in front. all the more we're looking forward to december now!!! went to dear's house to do our sums. like how to allocate earnings & how much we gotta save... for our future and stuff like that. it was funny! haha... we had fun larh. got to see dear's sulking face when he knows i'll have my own savings but he has none cos' all's going to be OURS. muahaha.. i'll pay for dating while he pays for the car and every other payment and cost that come along with the yellow little vehicle. =] and off we went for his poly gathering. ps was persuaded and she came along in the end. we ate at sakura international buffet. without the latecomers which include ps. food was so-so. not bad la. the the next moment i was in ben's car playing the fishing game his gf introduced.. his gf is very nice!! i was playing with darlie's hp game all the way in the car on our way to beach cabana. played until low-batt. wahhaha...totally addicted. was at the table and shawn said "don't play already lehh.. so quiet.." hahah... i completed the game and became a guru diver cum photographer. hahaha. won't play again... i promise..
got home quite late.. yet i didn't wanna sleep. i went to tidy my accessories boxes. dear must have thought i was mad. didn't know i have so many necklaces, rings, earrings etc... slept late but woke up early! cos we made a promise with the gang to go for ktv at marina. so there we met each other again. within 12 hours' time. haha. shaun, shuiming, darlie, me and ps went for ktv. lennart came to meet us and we went for bowling. considerate violet even brought extra pair of socks for ps. haha.. =) i'm nice. the game was fun... i'm not that bad after shifu (Shuiming aka feixiang) taught me how to lock my elbow. shawn looked super funny in the picture. he posed for daryl and that cause him to waste his chance to score higher. he washed the *lang-gao*. hahathen darlie & i created a chance for ps & ahem to be alone tog. haha... dinner was cha kway teow at zion road. =) the week passed very fast. that left me with just 2 weeks before work begins. think i'm gonna get nervous when the date draws nearer.. okie. long post. shall end here.

went for prata.. a simple way to "celebrate". today marked the 26th month anniversary of darlie & me... not too long, yet not too short. if love is said to be a journey, ours is definitely filled with laughter, joy and also sadness. not a smooth journey i would say... but we're glad we're still together up till this date. a few relationships around us have failed recently. and one of them is a pity to me..
no one can ever get the answers to questions like "is the guy true to me?" or "will we last till the end of time?" it's really like taking a chance. you'll never know unless you try it out. (of course please don't be blind. If the guy is obviously irritating or mean, don't even bother to try getting together with him..) PERHAPS, LOVE IS JUST A GAMBLE.

finally got to see the picture some lady took for us at dbl O on my birthday celebration... haha.. i have all along been wondering what photo was ann & bryan talking about.. coz' i can't remember someone taking photo of us that night. but from what i can see, i don't seem drunk in the picture.

cancelled sentosa trip. weather hasn't been good recently. so what did darlie and i do?we went back to his hse in the morning to wash car for his dad. while waiting for uncle to finish his gardening, daryl's and my stomachs turned to the back. hahaha... starving. dear on the verge of dying i suppose. haha. we had late lunch at whampoa market. duck rice and rojak. i really like the duck rice. *superb* =]
uncle sent us back to clementi, waited for us to buy baking ingredients and sent us home again. very nice of him. then 2 clumsy fellas began to bake their first batch of cupcakes together. it was so fun to see the cupcakes rise in the microwave oven. yes, we used microwave oven instead of thos baking oven. same larr. got that function. haha. our cupcakes became 'HUAT KUEH'. they exploded on the top. hahaha. like volcano. but still, they taste soOooOo nice. hahaha. glad first cupcake-baking experience was not bad, if not we'll be so demoralised. and by right, the cupcakes are suppose to turn out like what's shown on the book cover. guess we failed in that. able to make a dozen as stated in the recipe book? we made like 21! haha.. gonna let ps try... sis said it was nice... =]
try washing car together, try baking together... quite fun things couple can do together.oh, by the way i wanna comment on something about prata. i saw on tv how they said the prata at evans road was nice. MR. PRATA was the name. i went on saturday with daryl n his dad. VERY DISAPPOINTING!! nobody served us but that's still fine. we went to get the menu ourselves. still fine. the guy who took our order looked v sian. not fine. the briyani uncle n dear ate was lousy, BAD. (the rice was 'clumpy' and mutton curry was diluted), my order of the famous italian prata took forever to be ready. half an hour of waiting. nvm, i waited. the prata came n this uncle shouted whose prata was it. the table nearest to him ordered. yes, so they raised hand, they got their freaking prata. which was supposed to be mine.... they rushed the order and soon, i had mine. tasted okay. it was BURNT at the bottom. so u can taste the burnt bits. oh man. i won't patronize the shop ever again. be it lousy service due to sat crowd or what. that was just so wrong. having ur boyfriend see the waiter scratching his dick does not help a single bit. cheese prata at NUS also cannot make it. (even teh tarik taste like drain water. so diluted) yet why do i have ppl telling me it's nice. duh! jalan kayu's prata (Thohirah) beat these 2 FLAT anytime.

yixian is back from holland so we had our gathering again. with everyone present this time round! no steamboat. FAT MAMA at cuppage is closing today. but vila'ge was good for us too on saturday night! we had 6 of us (including daryl) haha, yes i brought him along. and i hope no one felt weird. i thought it went quite well. he was our photographer and chauffeur for the day. hahah... had a 3 hr gathering. topics that were brought up were of all kinds. the most popular one was cockcroach. everyone had something to say about cockcroaches. hahaha... laughter filled the place. i think we received a few stares or turning back of heads.. because we were quite noisy.do you know this? flying cockcroaches are the pregnant ones... because they fly around to protect their babies.. thanks prof. angeline!! haha.. idoit pregnant cockcroaches.

i feel super awake. how nice if my LOTR 3 disc works well.... gonna try rent it from video EZ tmr. =]
talking to weihan thru MSN now. haha... can't even remember when was the last time i talked to him. YEARS ago... fell down in my own house earlier on. too shocked i guess. and it was painful. was actually running to the toilet. but i forgot my mum mopped the floor and it was still wet. i cried in the toilet. oh man... when dear comforted me over the phone, was still tearing. emotional lehhh... time of the month. tmd
anyway, just finished planning the Japan trip 2007 for me and dear!! last part which is the itinerary has been typed out. spent most of the time during this break on the planning. now i have this 17 page microsoft words file. hahah... super packed with words and maps and stuff like that. some may say i'm kiasu. but who will do it when i start work next month....definitely not darlie. haha. yeap. and so! the efficient me had it all done. nice restaurants and transport all taken note of. maybe if i decide to change career, i'll take up something related to travel... it's tedious yet fun & enjoyable to do planning for trips... =] HEE.
was dreaming of sapporo few days back. think i dreamt of food. and i was drooling when i woke up.....hahahahha!
i'm sure. i'm gonna enjoy this special trip with hubhub!!! even if we're going to freeze our butt out in that insanely cold weather..

i'm a BiG eater @ 10:31 PM
went out with daryl's colleagues last wednesday. we ate at ichiban sushi. super nice. nicer than sushi tei. then we played pool, which i don't like at all.... haha. oh, the potluck on national day was great. maybe we should have it more often. haha... so much food. i like... we took some pics. will upload some other time. i really liked joe's spaghetti, bryan's toast, jasper's thai chicken and my own potato salad. hahah... and ryan's rambutan... super sweet.. TSK. i really love to eat.
driving sucked today. big time. tmd. not going into details. but dear said something very sweet to me in a sms this afternoon. "try harder k? if you give up, i'll drive you around" muahhh!!!!! thanks darlie. i wanna be taitai. YAY. hahah... sometimes it's not always the big action or something that touches girls' hearts. it can be something simple. just like the above. i smiled upon reading it... in the bus. i hope no one saw.
let's talk about something that really made me happy. well, erm... of course sometimes actions also make the girl super happy. and well, touched. hahahah. dear accompanied me to vivo again yesterday. we just went on friday to have dinner with jeffrey and mavis. nice meet-up i will say. didn't buy anything on friday but set my eyes upon many many things. and that was why we went back ytd. he accompanied me. i shopped. he paid. thanks darlie!!! okay wanna know how a typical woman's like? you love a $36.90 top. and your guy loves it on you too. he said it can only match white bottom, so you got yourself a pair of $30 white shorts. then the saleslady says you get a membership if you spend above 80. so you search around and finally got yourself another black top which cost $20. but well, this last top is perfect for teaching... black, short sleeve yet high collar... at least i won't die of heatstroke. yup. for a top, i ended up buying 2 other items. but i like the clothes there. 10% in the future... hurhur... if you guys happen to go JOOP and see something nice, and want a discount, can ask me for the card.
darlie & i are going again this wednesday.. hope to use the Levi's voucher and get a new pair of jeans for him. doing this before the sales for national day ends! =] and dear me.... we're going again this Sunday. because the whole gang is going sentosa. bought some sunblock. i dread the scorching sun since what happened last feb...vivo vivo... are you becoming my favourite hang-out place??
looking forward to this saturday!! my primary school buddies!! we're having steamboat.... yay... =]

this one month break has been great so far!!! i'm totally enjoying it.... =]
meeting my pri sch buddies next saturday.. and i think i'm going to sentosa with ps, lennart and dear 2 saturdays from now... saturdays fully booked!! i need to enjoy this break. and i think i will~!

these are taken after the dinner at Margarita's. did not get to try the new pizza with cheese fondue. i wanna eat it today!!watched LOTR on saturday night. i must have been crazy to delay the show till now. it's so nice! haha... gonna watch the 2nd and 3rd this week.
gonna go ktv with ps tmr as well!! this girl's mouth has been twitching in itch for so long. haha time to cure that.
yesterday was a fun day out.. went back to dear's place to help him wash his dad's car. spraying water at him and yet he can't retaliate. hahah... then i helped to tidy their shoe rack. threw away one big trashbag of shoes n slippers. went for a good lunch at zion road. the cha kway teow is superb! and then we went to champion motors to test drive swift sport again. yes, again. haha. this time round his dad tried. think most probably we're getting yellow....and the real power and performance of that car (yes! my fav car~) was shown to us by the salesman. he really floored the accelerator i guess. went up to a speed of 130km/h. hahahha. super!! then his last cornering. he told us to get ready. i didn't hear that and all i know was i was flung to the left seconds later. before we can sit up properly, i was flung to the right again. hahahah. power lah power! racer salesman uncle. i almost died laughing in the car with daryl at the back. CHA CHA CHA!! BMW and drug addiction... super funny uncle. the best and most exciting ride i've ever taken... this uncle became the highlight topic when we had coffee at wcp macs. truly happy yesterday. =]

because she finally gets a chance to visit the country she loves most and yearns to go since years and years ago!!
she's going to JAPAN with darlie ang!! from 14th to 23rd december... weet!!
first 5 days in tokyo... last 4 days in sapporo... weather is going to be coooold~ snowing in sapporo (a city in hokkaido). max temp is 2 degrees, min temp is -5 degrees. haha insane! my first time seeing snow!! (i really really hope it will snow...pleeeaseeee)
we're going to disneyland...my first time... =] daryl went quite a few times already.. some people are just fortunate... able to visit so many places before... but for me, all these are made possible only when i grew up and become able to earn my own travel fare overseas... anyway, i'm sure i'm gonna enjoy this upcoming trip... YAY!!
i'm gonna wear boots and walk around in the cold and snowy place!! wear my muffler, gloves and nice paperboy cap... dear just bought a nice sweater from takashimaya calvin klein sales... i'm gonna borrow nice winter jacket from godmum... i'm so excited that i even took out all my clothes that are suitable for cold weather... haha.. I JUST CAN'T WAIT FOR DECEMBER TO ARRIVE!!! there will be nice christmas decorations everywhere! we're gonna try good japanese food. hahah.. food is all that matters. we'll not shop much i guess... hahah i can just go on and on...
let's pray JAL air tickets can be confirmed soon. =]
my hotel accomodation will only cost $420+ for all 9 nights. call me cheapo. or call me just really good at getting cheap and nice accomodation!!! hurhur...
